A Binary Option always offers a fixed return. OptionsClick typically returns 70-85% when an option expires “in the money”. For example, an investment of $100 that expires “in the money” will return $170-185 to the investor. That is, the original sum plus $70-85. If the option expires “out of the money,” it will return $0.
The Target Price (sometimes referred to as the “strike” or “purchase price” of an option) is determined by OptionsClick based on live pricing feeds supplied by Data Provider. It represents the price at which OptionsClick is willing to sell a particular option. Customers may buy an option that is higher or lower than the Target Price depending on whether they anticipate the market value of the asset to rise or fall.
An option that expires in the condition you selected is considered “in the money.” An option that expires in a condition you did not select is considered “out of the money.” The following are examples of “in the money”:
High/Low – You chose the HIGH option and at expiry the option closed HIGH.
One Touch – You chose the TOUCH option and at any one time prior to expiry the target price was TOUCHED.
Range – You chose the IN option and at expiry the option closed INSIDE the range limits.
The following are examples of “out of the money”:
High/Low – You chose the HIGH option and at expiry the option closed LOW.
One Touch – You chose the TOUCH option and the target price was NOT TOUCHED at any time prior to expiry.
Range – You chose the IN option and at expiry the option closed OUTSIDE the range limits.
This scenario is possible only with the High/Low or Range instruments, and is referred to as an “at the money” expiry. In this case, OptionsClick will return 100% of the initial investment to the customer.
